The Diet Saga Continues!


How is everything going out there? I'm doing good. I thought that since I haven't updated you guys on the diet in awhile that this was a good time to do so. Today is day 10 on this diet and I have had my ups and downs. Last time I checked, I have lost 3 1/2 pounds on this diet. Not to bad but it could be better. In my last diet post I mentioned that there was a potluck at work that I was a part of and I had to make the tough decision to eat or not to eat. Well I ATE! I did fall to the temptations of the food but if there was a positive to come out of it was that I did not get a second plate. I had my one plate and that was it. So on that day I may have lost the war but I won some battles and to me that's what makes a diet successful. You cant always stick to only eating carrots and
celery sticks all the time. We need to be able to enjoy the things that we do. The true test is whether you can control those cravings and manage them. If you want some pizza, go ahead and get some but try to only having one or two slices. Its not so much of losing the weight but to change your eating habits so that when you can finally squeeze your ass into a small size shirt or jeans, you can wear them again a month later.
